Austrian Tyrol & Salzburgerland
Although tiny compared to its former glory under the rule of the Hapsburg Empire, Austria does nevertheless have a lot to offer within its borders with Germany, Switzerland, Italy and the former Balkan States. Its past power is still in evidence at some of the former residences of the mighty Hapsburg dynasty, but today it is a peaceful and utterly beautiful holiday destination, where a smiling welcome, friendly service and tradition are all part of the Austrian experience. Think chocolate box scenery with tumbling waterfalls, snow capped mountain peaks, steep hillsides grazed by cattle wearing bells, Apple strudel, Gluhwein and Schnapz, ladies in Dirndls and gents in Lederhosen and you will find it all here!
A range of local hotels, subject to availability, can be offered to suit individual requirements.
